Transformers Cartoon Fun Facts
* The Transformers cartoon series originally aired from 1984 to 1987.
* The character Optimus Prime was killed during The Transformers: The Movie brought him back to life for the episode Dark Awakening and returned for good in the episode The Return of Optimus Prime.
* The first Transformer to appear on the series was Wheeljack.
* In Japan, the first season of Transformers was called Fight! Super Robot Life Form Transformers.

Transformers – Main Characters
* Optimus Prime – The leader of the Autobots who has dedicated himself to protecting the weak from the evil Decepticons. WHis transformation disguise is a loaded semi truck.
* Wheeljack – Sometimes a robot, sometimes an Italian race car (Lancia Stratos), Wheeljack uses his skills as a master inventor to aid the Autobot cause.
* Bumblebee – The smallest of the Autobots, Bumblebee can often fit into spaces where other Autobots can’t. He also doubles as an old-school Volkswagen Beetle. (In the Movie he has been upgraded to a yellow Camera)
* Trailbreaker – Part robot, part 4WD Toyota, this Autobot has the power to create impenetrable force fields.
* Prowl – When he’s not a police car, this Autobot can be found taking care of Decepticon bad guys as the right-hand-man to Optimus Prime.
Transformers – Villains
* Megatron – Whether he’s a robot or a pistol, Megatoron lives to battle the Autobots. His fusion cannon can kill Transformers with one shot when it is fully charged.
* Skywarp – Part robot, part fighter jet, this Decepticon is a force to be reckoned with.
* Starscream – This jet/robot combo is so eager to steal from Megatron that he often messes things up in the process.
* Thundercracker – Another jet/robot combo, this Decepticon sometimes has doubts about the Decepticon cause. However, that doesn’t stop him from using his cruise missiles to defeat the Autobots.
* Soundwave – This Decepticon is super old-school. He’s a cassette player that houses the lower-level Decepticons who turn into cassettes. I am pretty sure he is one of the more useless ones

* Transformers is a 2007 American science fiction action film based on the Transformers toy line.
* The film, which combines computer animation with live-action.
* The budget for the movie was set at US $ 200 million, which was US $ 50 million more than the preceding movie.
* Transformers 2 is regarded by many to be the result of the biggest collaboration between movie makers and the military in terms of Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marines.
* The majority of the filming for the movie took place in the United States of America, in spite of the fact that many scenes were said to be set in other countries were actually shot in the United States.
* The language used by Deceptions is mostly Cybertronian, which is a language used by outer-terrestrial beings.
